Welcome to Ben Franklin Elementary School 

Dear Ben Franklin Elementary Parents/Guardians:

I hope you and your families have had success transitioning to the new school year. We had a very successful month of September and are ready to progress through the autumn season.   I want to thank all of the parents that joined us for our events this month, Back to School night, Donuts for Dads and our monthly PTO meeting.    

We continue to have many things planned for the month of October.  The month will start out with family math night on the 17th of the month and ending with a week-long celebration of Red Ribbon Week as a reminder to stay “Drug Free”. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a school spirit dress code during Red Ribbon Week. This year we will be holding a Fall Harvest Day event on Friday October 27th. This will be held in the afternoon as students will rotate through different “fall friendly” activities. More information regarding this event will be sent home at a later date.  

I hope this month’s newsletter will keep you informed on the incredible things taking place here and will be helpful in your planning throughout the month.
